  One of the most beautiful prayers is from the old Divine Office (Matins), called O Magnum Mysterium. I have some beautiful music settings in my Christmas blogpost out of YouTube. Here is a translation into English from the Latin.
  
  O great mystery, and wonderful sacrament, that animals should see the new-born Lord, lying in a manger! Blessed is the Virgin whose womb was worthy to bear Christ the Lord. Alleluia!
